What You’ll Do

As part of the Site Survey team, you will:

• Conduct site visits to assess physical, environmental, and technical conditions for rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar installations

• Capture key data such as site layout, shading obstructions, structural capacity, grid connectivity points, access routes, and topography

• Perform GPS mapping, irradiance measurements, structural evaluations, and utility infrastructure checks

• Use tools like laser distance meters, GPS devices, drones, and solar pathfinders to gather accurate and actionable insights

• Prepare comprehensive site survey reports, complete with annotated photos, schematic sketches, and technical findings

• Coordinate with engineering, pre-bid, and design teams to feed real-time site inputs into layout optimization and system design

• Identify potential execution challenges early—like space constraints, permitting issues, or load-bearing limitations—and flag them proactively

• Ensure documentation compliance with project checklists, regulatory standards, and internal QA/QC protocols

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for on-ground professionals who are:

• Qualified in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields

• Experienced in conducting site assessments for solar or infrastructure projects

• Skilled in using survey tools and basic design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)

• Comfortable working in diverse terrain and environmental conditions

• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and organized in documentation and reporting
