What You’ll Do
As part of the Rooftop team, you will:
Assess rooftop suitability, structural capacity, shading, and orientation for solar PV installations
Design rooftop PV systems—both RCC and metal sheet structures—optimizing for energy yield, load distribution, and aesthetics
Work with site survey, civil, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure
Recommend mounting types such as fixed tilt, elevated, or ballasted systems based on site conditions
Use tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, and Helioscope for accurate layout planning and simulation
Ensure system designs meet safety codes, local regulations, fire norms, and building by-laws
Coordinate cable routing, inverter placement, and remote monitoring systems for operational efficiency
Collaborate with execution and QA/QC teams to address rooftop-specific challenges like waterproofing, wind loads, and accessibility
Who Should Apply
We’re looking for professionals who are:
Qualified in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering
Experienced in rooftop solar PV system design, engineering, or construction
Proficient in layout and simulation tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope)
Knowledgeable about structural considerations, wind loading, and rooftop mounting options
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and site conditions across residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of balancing design performance with practical constraints
