What You’ll Do

As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications at every stage of the project lifecycle

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of solar installations, including equipment, materials, and workmanship, to ensure they meet quality standards

• Collaborate with design, procurement, and engineering teams to establish and enforce quality guidelines, technical specifications, and testing procedures

• Oversee testing of solar components (panels, inverters, transformers, etc.), ensuring they meet performance expectations before installation

• Review vendor quality assurance documentation, including certifications, testing results, and compliance with international standards

• Identify quality issues early in the process and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent delays

• Manage the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are thoroughly tested, calibrated, and meet operational expectations before handover

• Provide training and support to project teams, ensuring that they are well-equipped to meet quality standards and best practices

• Maintain a robust documentation process for quality control records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and continuous improvement initiatives

• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, certifications, and quality assurance methodologies relevant to the solar energy sector

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for professionals who are:

• Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related technical fields

• Experienced in quality assurance, testing, or inspections for renewable energy projects, preferably solar PV

• Familiar with international and national quality standards (ISO, IEC, BEE, etc.)

• Skilled in quality management systems, audits, and performance testing of solar energy systems

• Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing corrective measures

• Strong communicators, able to work with diverse teams and clients to ensure compliance and quality standards are met

• Passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable, and efficient solar solutions
