What You’ll Do

As part of the AC Engineering team, you will:

• Design AC power evacuation systems from inverters to transformers and grid/substation interfaces

• Select and size inverters, transformers, switchgear, and protection devices in line with load demands and safety norms

• Develop SLDs, AC cable routing plans, earthing layouts, and equipment layouts using tools like AutoCAD and ETAP

• Perform load flow, fault level, voltage drop, and short circuit analyses to ensure system stability and performance

• Ensure compliance with CEA regulations, IEC/IS standards, DISCOM interconnection norms, and fire safety codes

• Coordinate with the DC Engineering, Civil, and SCADA teams to ensure smooth system integration

• Support procurement and vendor evaluation for major AC components

• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for engineers who are:

• Qualified in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering

• Experienced in AC power design for solar PV systems (rooftop, ground-mount, or hybrid)

• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, and protection coordination tools

• Knowledgeable about grid codes, inverter technologies, HT/LT system design, and electrical safety standards

• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating energy flow into robust design solutions

• Comfortable engaging with utilities, consultants, and field teams
